... because music matters.

Killing For Company

“Mind blowing alternative rock band. Full of talent ... just listen for yourself and you will soon realize the sheer power of pure music and lyrics as they should be. Founded in 2006 by ex-Stereophonics drummer Stuart Cable, says it all. Vocally Superb, Lyrically Supreme and the music is pure, honest and true.”

'We Don't Need To Know'

JD Music and Killing for Company will be honouring Stuart’s birthday, 19th May, with the release of ‘Surrender’, a superb track from the album ‘Lost Art of Deception’.

Stuart was very proud of the album and it was due for release the week of his passing. Out of respect the band pulled the album release and so it’s never been properly heard other than via the band’s Soundcloud. We want to rectify this.

Apart from honouring what should have been Stuart’s 46th birthday, we will also be honouring the fact that he did a lot for charity by donating any proceeds from the sale of the track to Tŷ Hafan Children’s Hospice which was a charity close to Stuart’s heart.

Obviously I'm giving my time for free and am excited to be a part of this tribute to a very genuine and kind hearted person as well as doing my best to raise funds for an extremely worthwhile cause.

14th March update:

Dischromatics Ltd, Abercarn, Caerphilly, have generously offered to press 50 full colour CDs of the track for free - so we will have Limited Edition CDs to offer as well.

Cardiff/Swansea, Wales, UK.

SURRENDER Killing for Company with Stuart

"What a great sounding track "Surrender" is! ... (I just can't stop playing it!)"

Way Out Radio.

A few snippets from Reverb Room's review of 'Surrender':

Vocalist Greg Jones oozes emotion with a delicate and restrained melodic line in the verse before letting rip with a repeated plea of "Surrender. Surrender." in the chorus. It's melodically engaging and has a edgy vibrancy that really helps bring the track to life.

It's a great track for a great cause featuring a great man who left us too soon.

If this is the last "new" material we ever hear featuring Cable's drumming, it's a fitting testament to everything he brought to the craft and a perfect showcase of why exactly his loss sent waves through the music industry.
